Tyler Ineson

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, I developed a passion for storytelling and film early on. In Buffalo, it snows up to your eyeballs, sometimes, eight months of the calendar year. I’d put on movies to wait out the storms and worn out several Star Wars VHS tapes.

Post pandemic, I was furloughed from my job in business development, applied, and was accepted to the Television and Film Arts program at Buffalo State University. I pivoted my career to pursue my lifelong dream of being a filmmaker.

In 2021, my freshman year, I started doing professional videography for live high school sports and weddings. I interned of my first feature film, The Puppetman, during the month of February 2022. The film is now streaming on Shudder. I also was a PA on set of a TV Movie, The Chain, in April 2022. I worked on several IMDB credited short films through the TFA program. I was in several elected leadership positions for numerous student organizations at Buffalo State University including Studio 716 and BSC-TV.

Summer 2022, I was Digital Video Production Intern for Buffalo Toronto Public Media where I would later be offered a position as Per Diem Production Assistant for WNED & PBS broadcasts and productions. I also accepted a position as Digital Content Producer with Sinclair Broadcasting Group at Fox 29 WUTV Buffalo before they closed up shop on their news department. I have also worked with my local NBC and CBS affiliated stations in different capacities.

I began cultivating Development experience with an internship with Syracuse production company American High. I was also a Screenplay - TV Pilot Reader with ReelheART Festival Group and Zoodiker. I was a Production Intern for the 2022 Buffalo International Film Festival.

Post graduation, I have worked freelance in the film industry in various production roles, including as a PA and Grip. Most recently I worked on a feature film called Malus (2025) as Grip.

My primary work is in writing, script coverage, content development, directing narrative films.

My upcoming project, a television pilot called The Young Boys, is in development now and goes into production Summer 2025.
